Criminal and Terrorist Identification and Apprehension Training

Dave Frye, worked as a Nebraska State Trooper from 1997 to 2008, and now serves as a Deputy for the Seward County Sheriff’s Office in Seward County, Nebraska. Dave became the Director of Training for the Desert Snow Training Program in 2008 and has served as the Director of Operations for the Black Asphalt Website since 2004.  Dave has been instrumental in the development of the Black Asphalt Website. Throughout his career, Dave has been involved in over 300 major interdiction cases and has personally seized more than $5,500,000.00 in currency, 5,725 pounds of marijuana, 427 pounds of  cocaine, 65 pounds of methamphetamine, 22 pounds of hashish, 8 pounds of  ecstasy, 158 pounds of ephedrine, and 1 gallon of liquid PCP.  Dave began instructing for the Desert Snow Training Program in 2001 and has provided instruction to thousands of officers in the area of criminal interdiction since that time. He is also a federally certified instructor for the Drug Interdiction Assistance Program (DIAP) and El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC).  Dave has received numerous recognitions and awards including the federal government’s prestigious “Networker of the Year” award in 2006.
